Brilliant+ is an organization that utilizes football as a universal tool which promoting efforts to build bridges of cultural exchanges between Japan and the U.S.
On March 9th 2008, Brilliant+ was invited by Detroit Ignition Invitational Tournament as 2007 champion. Unfortunately, we could not win the tournament two years straight although all of Brilliant+ kids battled strongly and chase the ball with heart and soul.After the tournament, we spend fruitful time such as face painting, take photo with professional players, play with the mascot, and get autograph until professional indoor soccer game, Detroit Ignition vs. Chicago Storm, begins. After watching Ignition’s game, Japan Festival, co-hosted by Detroit Ignition and Brilliant+, was held at the arena. Overall, 200 Japanese fan came to enjoy the concert performed by DNA, Shibata’s, and such active Japanese artists in Michigan. The festival was so excited and everybody attended there seemed enjoying their show!
